Overview
The Programme Associate (Data & Info) will support the development and implementation of nutrition and safety nets programmes, focusing on information management and coordination with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for nutrition and Conditional Cash Transfer (CBT) programming.
- Strengthen cooperating partner staff capacity on data management.
- Follow up with Cooperating Partners (CP) for invoices and reports.
- Review CP budgets and proposals.
- Facilitate CP for compilation of CBT output data.
- Provide reconciliation reports for Specialised Nutritious Food (SNF).
- Reconcile data for CNIC and non-CNIC beneficiaries.
- Manage systems for beneficiary registration, tracking, and distribution planning.
- Prepare Cash Release Notes (CRN).
- Coordinate with Financial Service Providers and CPs for cash disbursement.
- Ensure WFP’s data protection policy implementation.
- Manage nutrition projects knowledge management, including data collection, validation, cleaning, and analysis.
- Prepare reports and data analysis, highlighting trends and issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of data.
- Ensure COMET modules are implemented and staff capacity is built.
- Ensure quality planning and actual achievements are recorded and validated in COMET.
- Provide real-time operational data disbursement reports.
- Act as a point of contact for operational queries and problems.
- Liaise with Cooperating Partners, government institutions, and counterparts.
- Support capacity building of CPs and government line departments.
- Support strategic coordination and planning of future projects.
- Prepare and facilitate missions to targeted areas.
- Conduct regular field visits to support and monitor field activities.
- Follow standard emergency preparedness practices.
- Collaborate with M&E teams to address Complaints and Feedback Mechanisms (CFM).
- Act as a point of contact for resolution of complaints received from the field.
- Strictly follow the confidentiality of the CFM system.
- Complete all mandatory trainings.
Required Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in public or private sector with provincial / national / international organizations demonstrating evidence of implementation preferably in nutrition, food security, CBT (Cash Based Transfers). Experience in project cycle management, monitoring implementation and data collection, processing and analysis systems. Has the experience of working with technical teams (nutrition, M&E). Strong capacity of capacity strengthening and guidance for Cooperating Partner (CP).
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. A post secondary certificate or a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health/nutrition, project management, development studies is desirable.
