Overview

The Partnerships Officer will support the UNICEF Ukraine Country Office in resource mobilization, donor relations, and donor reporting. The role contributes to UNICEF Ukraine's ability to sustain and expand its response for children affected by the conflict.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and editing of donor reports by drafting and revising sections, proofreading for accuracy, and ensuring alignment with the original proposal and donor-specific templates.
  • Collect and consolidate data and programme updates from relevant sections to feed into reports, proposals, and partner communications.
  • Keep the Partnerships section's filing and tracking systems up to date.
  • Monitor developments in the broader donor landscape, United Nations (UN) system, and multilateral policy environment.
  • Attend relevant meetings with member states and other multilateral bodies, contributing to information-sharing and joint programming discussions.
  • Conduct background research and analysis on prospective and existing donors.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization, external relations, or a related area, preferably in an international or multilateral setting.
  • Experience drafting, editing, and proofreading donor reports, proposals, briefing materials, or similar documents in the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Experience conducting background research and political or contextual analysis.
  • Experience monitoring donor landscapes, development assistance trends, or multilateral policy environments.
  • Experience coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders across teams or organizations.
  • Experience working within the UN system or with an international development or humanitarian organization.
  • Experience working with international counterparts across cultures, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications

Master's degree in International relations, political science, communications, international development, or another relevant field.

Remuneration
Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) USD 3478 is provided monthly. USD 3500 entry lump sum, one-time payment. USD 225 Exit lump sum for each month served, paid on completion of contract. Relocation costs. Lump sum provided based on route for travel to the duty station. Home visit. May apply depending on duty station and length of service. Family allowance USD 250 per month for one dependent. USD 450 per month for two or more dependents. Medical insurance. Life Insurance.
