Overview

Seeking a Legal and Policy Officer to join the Digital Services Act enforcement team, focusing on the implementation and enforcement of new digital regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders and gather knowledge and evidence to support the application of the DSA.
Support the investigations team on the ground by detecting, investigating and analysing potential infringements of the DSA.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of professional experience after obtaining a university diploma (master’s degree). Experience in enforcement of digital regulation is an asset.

Qualifications

A relevant university diploma (master’s degree).

Languages Required

• Have a thorough knowledge (minimum level C1) of one of the 24 official languages of the EU. • Have a satisfactory knowledge (minimum level B2) of a second official language of the EU, to the extent necessary for the performance of the duties.

Languages Preferred

Ability to communicate fluently in a national language of the country according to the place of assignment.

Contract Duration

Initial duration of three years, with the possibility to extend it up to 6 years in total.

Work Modality

The selected expert will work from the location of the Commission Representation in the Hague.

Remuneration

The grade or proposed grade range, as well as the step in that grade, will be defined on the basis of the candidates’ previous professional experience. The pay of staff members consists of a basic salary supplemented with specific allowances, including, where applicable, expatriation and family allowances.
