Overview

To coordinate the provision of technical support to the Ministry of Health and other relevant ministries in Malaysia for the implementation of One Health activities under the Pandemic Fund project.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the ‘MyMSS-Alert’ Guideline for integrated surveillance at the human-animal-environment interface.
  • Operationalize the ‘MyMSS-Alert’ to support risk assessment for decision making and public health action.
  • Develop and finalize a training curriculum for the One Health Surveillance Training Program.
  • Conduct training workshops including training-of-trainers.
  • Launch a digital online training access platform.
  • Conduct evaluations of trainings for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Develop communication/ visibility products related to the projects.
  • Coordinate the organization of events, including launches and publications.
  • Submit monthly consultancy reports.
  • Submit notes from any calls and meetings attended.
  • Submit final technical reports with all deliverables.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of experience in the area of One Health such as surveillance, microbiology/clinical laboratory and/or other field at national and international level. Desirable: Experience working with the MOH Malaysia at national or State level on One Health programme(s); relevant work experience in WHO, other UN agencies, relevant non-governmental organizations.

Qualifications

Minimum: University degree in medicine, veterinary medicine, microbiology, pharmacy and/or relevant public health and clinical field. Desirable: Advanced university degree in medicine, veterinary medicine, microbiology, pharmacy, or public health.

Remuneration
