Overview
Provide technical support in preparing the Country Partnership Strategy, maintaining the country assistance pipeline, and monitoring project processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IRM management and International Staff in preparing and formulating the CPS and annual COBP, and maintaining the country assistance pipeline.
- Provide support in related activities such as country programming mid-term reviews and missions.
- Prepare and provide inputs to ADB-wide annual briefing materials and planning exercises.
- Oversee the monitoring of project and TA processing status and provide regular updates.
- Maintain dialogue and coordinate with government ministries/agencies, development partners, and partners.
- Provide support to team leaders in project processing in selected sectors and coordinate the implementation of regional TA projects.
- Proactively support other ADB-wide activities of a cross-cutting nature.
- Review ADB documents, including loan and TA documents, and undertake administrative tasks.
- Guide junior staff to facilitate work planning, delivery, and quality review.
- Work collaboratively in a team and perform other responsibilities reflected in your workplan and that may be assigned from time to time by IRM management.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in project management and implementation.
- Experience and knowledge of different stages of the project cycle.
- Experience with international development organizations including policy dialogue and pipeline development with the government and coordination with multiple team members across sectors.
- Sound knowledge of government administrative procedures, including on loan and grant approvals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in economics, public policy and administration, or other related fields; preferably with advanced training.
