Overview
Provide technical support to the Education Section at UNICEF Cambodia in research, data analysis, planning, reporting, and proposal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to ongoing research and review initiatives, including the Mid-Term Review of the Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2024–2028.
- Support programme-specific data analysis and learning assessments, such as SEA-PLM, EGRA, EGMA and CDHS.
- Support the drafting of donor reports and funding proposals, including the GPE 2030 application.
- Develop Expressions of Interest.
- Support proposal development and budget preparation.
- Design monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Draft analytical narrative sections aligned with education sector priorities and donor requirements.
- Support UNICEF internal reporting processes, including updates to RAM and CSIs, through data collection, indicator tracking, and narrative reporting.
- Provide support for evaluation and research related activities by reviewing documents and contributing to quality assurance processes.
- Undertake up to 20 days of in-country travel to support data and evidence generation related activities.
Required Experience
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and reporting in education.
- Demonstrable experience of producing analytical papers/documents in the education sector, preferably in a lower middle-income context.
Qualifications
Masters in a relevant field such as education, public policy, international development, or related discipline
