Overview

The Registration Associate supports the Registration and Identity Management Officer in ensuring efficient, accurate, and high-quality registration processes. The role involves managing complex cases, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and upholding data protection standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of registration strategies and methodologies.
  • Assist in the supervision and daily running of registration team activities.
  • Conduct registration interviews.
  • Provide counselling to asylum seekers and refugees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data.
  • Identify persons with specific needs and ensure timely referral.
  • Collaborate with protection staff and/or partners.
  • Draft correspondence and reports relating to registration activities.
  • Provide statistics and draft reports related to registration data.
  • Make decisions related to the day-to-day operations of the registration unit.
  • Devise registration procedures which are efficient and effective.
  • Draft and submit reports and statistics related to registration.
  • Support the identification and management of risks and seek to seize opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience

3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher. Good computer skills, particularly in data management. Training in basic principles of international protection. Experience in working with UNHCR proGres software.

Qualifications

Social sciences; Statistics; Mathematics; Information technology.
