Overview

The internship offers students or recent graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience in administrative support, records management, and document control within an international organization. The selected intern will assist the Travel and Visa Unit in organizing, digitizing, and maintaining travel documentation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the digital transformation and records management initiatives of the Travel and Visa Unit by organizing, validating, and maintaining electronic information.
  • Assist in reviewing operational data and system entries to enhance data quality.
  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of business processes, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
  • Support business process automation initiatives.
  • Provide analytical and coordination support for operational projects.
  • Assist in maintaining operational dashboards, tracking tools, and performance indicators.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on administrative best practices.
  • Handle official information with professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Perform other projects and operational support assignments.
Required Experience

Applicants to the UNRWA Internship Program are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. No prior work experience is required. Previous coursework, internships, or project work related to facilities management, logistics, or property administration is desirable.

Qualifications

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate (bachelor’s or equivalent) programme in economics, business administration, logistics, supply chain management, international trade, admin management, international relations, law, political science, computer science, literature and editing, languages or a related field.

Remuneration
This is an unpaid internship. Interns are responsible for all associated costs, including travel, visas, accommodation, and insurance. Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations.
