The WASH Manager reports to the Chief WASH/CEE and supports the management, development, and implementation of the WASH programme. The role ensures the quality and consistency of WASH infrastructure and services, and enhances risk-informed planning and implementation practices.
A minimum of eight years of professional experience in WASH programmes planning and management. At least one year of work in a humanitarian situation. Demonstrated experience in risk-informed planning and programming, risk management, internal control approaches, and programme assurance mechanisms in both development and humanitarian contexts. Demonstrated experience in WASH emergency preparedness and response planning, implementation, reporting, and coordination is required.
An advanced university degree (i.e Master Degree) in one of the following fields is required: public health, social sciences, behavior change communication, sanitary engineering or another relevant technical field related to WASH is required.
