Overview
Local consultant to prepare and monitor Individual Education and Employment Plans for potential internal migrants in the Municipality of Tirana.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential beneficiaries and partner municipalities.
- Collect information and identify potential internal migrants willing to explore seasonal work opportunities.
- Ensure beneficiaries have access to information on employment opportunities.
- Establish contact with interested beneficiaries and prepare a database.
- Identify potential matches between beneficiaries and available opportunities.
- Distribute and explain guidance materials.
- Conduct individual assessments to identify skill levels, aspirations, and educational needs.
- Develop personalized roadmaps for improving skills and competencies.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEEPs.
- Provide coaching and support to beneficiaries for labor market integration.
- Facilitate access to training, employment, and legal support services.
- Provide follow-up support to beneficiaries after seasonal employment.
- Coordinate between sending and hosting municipalities, local communities, and business sectors.
- Collect data related to internal migration at the Municipality of Tirana.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
Required Experience
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience. Relevant experience related to migration, employment or local government would be an advantage.
Qualifications
Completed university degree from an accredited academic institution in social sciences, law, economy, education or other related areas. Postgraduate studies (Master or PhD would be an advantage).
