Consultant, Knowledge Management and Communications

Overview

Provide strategic leadership for knowledge management, learning, and communications across ZCRA and UCRP initiatives, strengthening the quality, visibility, accountability, and impact of climate resilience programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate knowledge management systems and processes, including platforms like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Lead strategic communications to increase program visibility and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop strategic knowledge products in various formats, such as technical briefs, case studies, and videos.
• Design and facilitate cross-country learning exchanges, webinars, and communities of practice.

Required Experience

At least 5 years professional experience within the humanitarian, development, or climate sectors with either government or non-governmental organizations. Extensive demonstrable experience within the area of Disaster Risk Reduction, Resilience Programming, Climate Adaptation, and related fields of practice. Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. Experience in participatory approaches to evaluations. Experience with remote methodologies for consultations is a plus. Demonstrable experience in translating complex information into clear and actionable program goals and recommendations.

Qualifications

Relevant university degree in a related discipline from an accredited academic institution.
