Overview
This consultancy provides technical assistance to the Department of Health in the Philippines for measles/rubella vaccination campaigns and immunization system strengthening. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing vaccination activities at subnational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for MR SIA 2026 and outbreak response.
- Update and revise guidelines for SIA monitoring systems.
- Develop an analytical matrix for identifying priority areas for routine vaccination.
- Support monitoring and develop field reports on immunization coverage.
- Review surveillance indicators and initiate data review meetings.
- Develop the infodemic management plan for AEFI.
- Support national DOH team in conducting field monitoring visits.
- Support implementation of immunization program reviews.
- Provide technical assistance for national and regional trainings.
- Support CO to develop evidence briefs and background documents for NITAG sessions.
- Support the integration of the Red Cross/Red Crescent national society into planning and coordination.
- Prepare weekly summary updates on campaign preparations.
- Support the aggregation of campaign data and reports into a national report.
Required Experience
Proven experience working in diverse, low-resource settings. Proven experience conducting technical support to international public health programs. Experience working with international, national, and local partners. Strong knowledge with at least 5 years of experience in immunization programs, especially in the planning, implementation, and evaluation and vaccine preventable disease control activities and VPD surveillance.
Qualifications
University degree in allied health-related field. Preferred Master of Public Health.
