Senior Financial Officer

Overview

Provide technical advisory on asset management information technology and artificial intelligence within financial asset management functions. Contribute to the assessment and procurement of asset management systems and produce knowledge and research content.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory on asset management information technology and AI adoption.
• Lead and contribute to assessments of front-to-back asset management systems.
• Provide advisory input across the systems procurement lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on data architecture and foundations.
• Produce knowledge and research content relevant to clients.
• Provide technical briefings to senior management and client boards.
• Contribute to developing new investment products.
• Contribute to collaboration and cooperation across departments and with clients.
• Contribute to relationships with clients and business units.
• Contribute to the expansion of outreach activities.

Required Experience

Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in financial services, public-sector institutions, or comparable environments. Proven experience implementing financial asset management systems and technology ecosystems. Proven experience implementing AI solutions and advanced analytics in asset management and financial services. Demonstrated experience supporting system-related initiatives. Demonstrated understanding of system interdependencies and integration risks. Sound understanding of the end-to-end systems procurement lifecycle. Working knowledge of information security, control practices, and data governance requirements in financial institutions. Capacity to produce research material. Proven experience with policy and decision-making of official institutions is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
