Overview
The RSD Associate will support the implementation of UNHCR’s mandate in relation to refugees and asylum seekers in Malaysia. The role involves assisting in the registration and processing of asylum seekers and refugees.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the registration of asylum seekers and refugees.
- Conduct interviews with asylum seekers and refugees.
- Prepare case documentation and reports.
- Provide information and support to asylum seekers and refugees.
- Liaise with relevant government authorities and implementing partners.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in refugee status determination or protection-related work is desirable.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- University degree in a relevant field is an asset.
