The Project Coordinator will support the implementation of the Mayors’ Challenge in Fez, Morocco, focusing on the "Smart Management of the Cleanliness Sector, Integration of Waste Pickers into Cooperatives, and Promotion of the Circular Economy" project.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree must have at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience in environmental project management, with strong knowledge of the Moroccan regulatory context. Desired skills include experience working with local governments and associations; expertise in waste management and valorization; professional experience in waste management, circular economy, sustainable development, recycling technologies, as well as communication and mediation.
A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in environment, circular economy, waste management and recycling, or sustainable development is required. A first-level university degree (Bachelor's) in the above fields, combined with two additional years of relevant experience, will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree. Project management certification is an asset.
