Overview

Support the design and direct implementation of strategies to respond to violence in specific regions, with the objective of assisting victims and integrating protection measures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the design, delivery and analysis of assessments to understand lived experience of violence.
  • Co-lead the development of a programmatic response to violence, ensuring trauma-sensitive approaches.
  • Integrate the programmatic response to violence into the project’s Logframe.
  • Design and lead participatory workshops to seek community preferences regarding service provision.
  • Lead and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to set up effective holistic care for survivors of violence.
  • Promote protection mindset within projects by leading reflection spaces and participating in meetings.
  • Lead participatory and interdisciplinary protection risk analysis.
  • Support/lead targeted analysis and propose strategies to mitigate community-level protection risks.
  • Design strategies of engagement and negotiation with those responsible for violence.
Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager in a humanitarian response in a conflict setting. At least 3 years of experience in project management related to protection and response to violence in humanitarian contexts. Experience in quantitative and qualitative assessment methods, report writing, and knowledge of Logical Framework (Logframe) design will be considered an asset. Previous field experience with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) will be considered a strong asset.

Qualifications

University degree in Health, Social Sciences or a related field.

Contract Duration
until December 2026, with possible extension.
Work Modality
Homebased position when not deployed. Frequently travels to the missions (at least 50% of the time).
Remuneration
If the candidate selected is authorized to reside and work in Spain, the salary will be at 34,989 € (Level 5 according to IRP2 as entry point). If the candidate selected is resident out of Spain, the compensation will be subject to the local pay scale applicable to that country.
