Overview
Assists in identifying outreach activities, sourcing candidates, and managing recruitment processes for various staff categories. Provides support to staff and applicants, maintains tracking systems, and prepares HR correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies outreach activities and sources candidates through various channels.
- Drafts and posts vacancy notices, screens applicants, and generates screening spreadsheets.
- Arranges interviews and testing, conducts reference searches, and initiates selection panel reports.
- Provides assistance and information to staff members and applicants.
- Liaises with the Global Service Centre for staffing cases and on-boarding/separation processes.
- Maintains tracking systems, records, databases, and statistics.
- Drafts reports and messages, prepares HR correspondence.
- Organizes meetings, teleconferences, and selection panels.
- Acts as a focal point for administrative questions.
- Liaises with different Clusters within WHO.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HR or administrative work. Two years' recent experience in a WHO or UN administrative division, preferably in Human Resources, is desirable.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school supplemented by training in administrative/HR work. Additional relevant higher education is desirable.
