Overview
Support the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) functions for a thematic programme aimed at strengthening border management authorities in Egypt, focusing on tracking, analysis, and reporting of programme activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and updating of projects monitoring plans, indicator tracking tools and reporting schedules.
- Maintain and update project M&E frameworks in PRIMA M&E.
- Compile and track project indicator data, analyse results, and support progress reporting.
- Conduct regular monitoring of project activities, including field monitoring missions.
- Support the application of data quality assurance (DQA) processes.
- Support the implementation of assessments, surveys and data collection activities.
- Support evaluation activities through data collection, logistics coordination and documentation.
- Produce data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical summaries.
- Document lessons learned, promising practices, and evidence emerging from monitoring exercises.
- Integrate AAP mechanisms into monitoring tools and support the tracking and reporting of feedback, complaints, and response pathways.
- Monitor the implementation of protection, gender, and Do-No-Harm considerations.
- Support the development and maintenance of safe, accessible, and confidential feedback channels.
- Collect and consolidate monitoring information relevant to programme risks and implementation challenges.
- Report data inconsistencies or documentation gaps to supervisors.
- Support the application of responsible data management.
- Maintain digital databases for capacity-building activities, beneficiary information, and monitoring results.
- Support the rollout and use of PRIMA, Kobo and other digital platforms.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by supervisors.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or High school diploma with six years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in M&E, RBM, data analysis, and reporting in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Experience working with digital data collection tools and data visualization platforms (Power BI).
- Experience in monitoring, data collection, database management and reporting.
- Experience with PRIMA or similar project management systems is an asset.
- Experience in capacity building and coordination with government counterparts is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or High school diploma.
