Overview
Provide administrative and operational support for the Energy Division's activities, including project processing, portfolio management, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correspondence and documents comply with ADB standards and are logged and distributed.
- Screen incoming calls and take messages.
- Deal with queries from callers and visitors.
- Coordinate supervisor's calendar, appointments, meetings, travel, and accommodation.
- Assist with project processing by ensuring documents follow procedures, coordinating reviews, and monitoring timelines.
- Maintain and update office filing systems and records.
- Support knowledge management activities.
- Provide back-up support to other operations assistants.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years' relevant professional experience.
- Experience with business intelligence and artificial intelligence applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer systems used generally in multilateral organizations is preferred.
- Good coordination skills.
- Experience liaising and working with individuals from different professional and cultural backgrounds.
- Experience liaising and working with different stakeholders.
- Knowledge of procedures, formats, and standards relevant to the performance of work.
- Experience coordinating and exercising judgment on matters of confidentiality and urgent attention.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in economics, commerce, engineering, or other fields.
