Overview
Provides professional technical assistance to enhance UNICEF China’s knowledge generation, documentation, use of evidence, and dissemination on Health and Nutrition programmes. The Officer works across teams to improve evidence-informed programming and policy engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages knowledge products and activities generated by the Health and Nutrition section.
- Supports research, evidence, and quality assurance of Health and Nutrition documents.
- Plans and reports on Health and Nutrition programmes to various audiences.
- Explores and maintains knowledge partnerships and advocacy for Health and Nutrition.
- Contributes to quality assurance, capacity building, and strategic partnerships in knowledge management.
- Plays a key role in the conclusion and documentation of Health and Nutrition programmes.
- Establishes and manages an archive of relevant knowledge products.
- Contributes to routine and donor reporting.
- Drafts best practices in areas of Health and Nutrition for advocacy and use in China.
- Liaises with colleagues in Health and Nutrition and other sections.
- Develops proposals and best practices for south-south collaborations.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in health or nutrition program/project monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management is required.
- Proven experience in Project Monitoring, Evaluation Management, digital knowledge platforms, donor reporting, research consortia.
Qualifications
A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Public Health, Communications, Social Science, knowledge management, public policy, data analysis and any other related fields is required.
