Overview

Coordinate the development of Global Indirect Procurement activities across MSF entities and support the team to deliver their annual strategic objectives by end of 2026.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure global indirect procurement activities align with annual strategic objectives and MSF needs.
  • Oversee the execution of each buyer/advisor's action plan to achieve 2026 priorities.
  • Capture needs from different entities and platforms for 2027 and formulate strategic priorities.
  • Identify improvement areas based on impact reports and capitalize on them.
  • Lead and coordinate the global indirect procurement team, strengthening their working framework and promoting professional development.
  • Foster collaboration between the team, other GPU teams, and procurement stakeholders in different entities.
  • Develop and maintain communication flow with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate existing platforms to engage the indirect procurement community.
  • Plan and manage allocated resources, conduct recruitment interviews, and ensure proper use of resources.
Required Experience
  • At least +5 years demonstrated procurement expertise.
  • At least 5+ years team management experience.
  • Ideally on indirect categories.
  • Ideally working with MSF experience, and knowledgeable about MSF governance and its global procurement roadmap, or with other ingos in the humanitarian sector.
  • Proven experience with stakeholders’ management.
  • Direct work experience in a complex multi-entities organization.
  • Experience in global contracting and negotiations.
  • Experience in project management is an added value.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with ideally a specialization in procurement or supply chain management, or a combination of relevant education and professional experience.

Fluent spoken and written English.
Languages Preferred
Good command of French is a strong asset.
Contract Duration
Fixed-term contract until 31/12/2026

Remuneration
MSF practice is to offer the C&B package current in the MSF entity establishing the contract.
