Overview
The Agent de sécurité is responsible for implementing security measures, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for UNOPS partner personnel, visitors, and property in Tunis.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply visitor control procedures, including escorting as needed.
- Provide and use electronic equipment (metal detector) for search and screening.
- Maintain and operate fire-fighting systems, new and existing, and related equipment.
- Conduct mail screening by inspecting incoming materials and packages, and manage reception, registration, and distribution.
- Prevent unauthorized access to premises.
- Account for UN Security Management System property leaving the premises or protected area.
- Take immediate action in case of a security incident.
- Facilitate movement within premises or area to meet operational needs.
- Implement any ad-hoc security task deemed essential for ensuring or maximizing safety and security.
- Ensure rapid deployment of a response team within 30 minutes in case of attack, threat, or other urgent situation.
Required Experience
At least one (1) year of relevant professional experience in security, armed forces, police, protection services, or similar functions is required. Experience or good knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm monitoring and management software is an asset.
