Overview

This role supports the delivery of UN-Habitat projects by ensuring timely, high-quality, compliant, and well-documented implementation in line with contractual requirements and organizational procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor sub-project implementation against approved work plans, technical documents, and contractual requirements.
  • Review field visit reports and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Conduct coordination meetings with contractors and document actions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including correspondence and reports.
  • Support the issuance of written warnings and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Review contractor invoices and support payment package preparation.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to verify progress and identify risks.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders for sub-project delivery.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor.
Required Experience

Minimum of seven (7) years with a secondary school diploma. OR three (3) years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher in project management, progress monitoring and reporting. Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Desired: Professional experience with international organizations in project management and monitoring. Experience in infrastructure and public space rehabilitation.

Qualifications

Required: Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) with proven working experience in civil engineering and field activities. Desired: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
