Overview
Provides operational, technical, and analytical support to strengthen reproductive health commodity security and contributes to the implementation of the UNFPA Supplies Partnership programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide program management and operational support to implementation, monitoring, and reporting on the Gates Foundation grant and UNFPA Supplies Partnership funding stream.
- Support technical team participation in strategic engagements with internal and external partners.
- Support compilation of program data, including key performance indicators and financial performance, and assist in drafting donor and program reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of work plans in line with the UNFPA Supplies Partnership Phase III Programme.
- Provide support in coordinating regional team’s technical support to ESAR countries in quantification, forecasting, supply planning, commodity procurement, logistics management, and stock monitoring.
- Support ESARO technical teams in strengthening data quality, operational performance, and implementing partner compliance to good supply chain management practices.
- Provide routine virtual and, when necessary, in-person support to country teams on the management of program supplies.
- Provide assistance in the rollout and routine use of Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS/eLMIS).
- Support countries in the collection, validation, and analysis of logistics and other program data.
- Contribute to the preparation of routine operational reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries on program and supply chain performance.
- Contribute to capacity development of country teams through training activities and coaching related to the management of program supplies.
- Perform any other duties as may be required by the direct supervisor and UNFPA management.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in family planning, RH commodity management, supply chain operations, programme support, public health, or international development.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in public health, pharmacy, supply chain management, relevant field of social science, or other related fields.
