Overview
The Manager Protection, Gender and Inclusion (PGI) and Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) will integrate PGI and CEA approaches across programmes and operations to enhance their impact, reach, quality, and efficiency. The role will promote community participation, strengthen feedback systems, and ensure information is based on community feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Revisit and revise PGI roadmap and develop work plans.
- Ensure compliance with PGI and dignity, assess, participation and safety framework.
- Review and support PRCS to develop PGI policies and related SOPs.
- Develop contextualized PGI messaging and materials.
- Support PRCS to conduct Child Safeguarding Assessments.
- Review Protection approach and support referral mechanisms for SGBV.
- Support development of focused PGI actions.
- Advocate to integrate protection, gender and inclusion at institutional levels.
- Position PGI and CEA as cross-cutting priorities.
- Identify funding opportunities and advocate for PGI/CEA resources.
- Ensure accountability to the feedback loop by supporting National Society teams.
- Support and promote diverse community participation.
- Manage and compile community feedback data sets.
- Contribute to the regular review and improvement of coding frames.
- Support the sharing of community feedback analysis.
- Ensure equal access to information and feedback for all community segments.
- Contribute to training/coaching and development of PGI and CEA staff and volunteers.
- Represent PRCS in Red Cross Red Crescent network and forums.
- Produce information products such as regular community feedback reports.
- Support the sharing and adaptation of RCRC tools, methodologies and activities for PGI and CEA.
- Set and support movement level PGI working group in Pakistan.
- Coordinate with in-country movement partners.
- Engage with government stakeholders and humanitarian partners.
- Establish measurable PGI and CEA indicators within monitoring frameworks.
- Document lessons learned, success stories, and challenges.
- Facilitate community-led evaluations.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in PGI (gender, child protection, or other relevant fields) and CEA.
- Demonstrated experience in applying PGI/CEA (humanitarian protection/gender/accessibility) standards and guidelines in a range of contexts.
- Experience working for humanitarian or development organisations.
- Experience managing and analysing large data sets including both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience of coaching, training and developing local staff and volunteers in PGI/CEA.
Qualifications
Relevant university degree or higher education, preferably in social sciences, or international development.
