Overview

Support the integration of MHPSS considerations into community-based activities, deliver capacity-building initiatives, and contribute to programme development and quality strengthening.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support technically the integration of MHPSS considerations into community-based activities.
  • Conduct training sessions on Community-Based MHPSS approaches, Psychological First Aid (PFA), stress management, team building, conflict management, and communication skills.
  • Strengthen partners networks by supporting the organization of meetings, discussion forums, and coordination initiatives.
  • Develop awareness and information materials and psychoeducation content related to MHPSS.
  • Assist in conducting MHPSS assessments, including needs assessments, impact assessments, surveys, FGDs, KIIs, and research.
  • Support the implementation of MHPSS technical components of integrated MHPSS–Livelihoods initiatives (MLI) and MHPSS projects supporting veterans and their families.
  • Support proper reporting and data entry of activities in tracker sheets, contributing to analysis of results and qualitative monitoring findings.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in research, development of technical materials, and preparation of MHPSS guidance, preferably in contexts involving conflict-affected populations, including veterans and their families.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating stakeholders and supporting capacity-building initiatives, including facilitation of trainings and community-based learning processes.
  • Experience contributing to the development of new technical programmes, including providing field-based insights, qualitative monitoring inputs, and recommendations for programme design and adaptation.
  • Competence in reporting, data collection, and basic analysis, including contributions to qualitative monitoring and results interpretation.
  • Experience with international organizations and/or participation in MHPSS trainings is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • An advanced degree is an advantage.
