Overview
The Project Field Coordinator will provide technical support and translate concepts into practical field-level actions for the Transformative Climate-Resilient Agriculture (CRA) project. This role requires effective community mobilization, engaging farmers and local groups, facilitating participation, and promoting inclusive ownership of project interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, refinement, and regular review of the project workplan, including support to scoping, mapping, and baseline activities.
- Coordinate and liaise regularly with provincial and local government partners, stakeholders, and community organizations.
- Strengthen partnerships and inter-agency coordination at the provincial level.
- Conduct regular field visits and oversee timely implementation of project activities.
- Provide technical advice and coordination support at the community level.
- Maintain regular communication with LGUs, community leaders, FCAs, and partner organizations.
- Support capacity development interventions by organizing trainings, workshops, and field demonstrations.
- Assist in the coordination of procurement and logistics at the field level.
- Support implementation of cash-based interventions.
- Assist in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities.
- Regularly address operational bottlenecks or issues proactively.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports on activities.
- Represent the project at provincial level meetings and forums.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience in agriculture/rural development sectors, project implementation, capacity building, and coordination with national/regional government structures, NGOs and private sector and the UN agencies.
Qualifications
University degree in the field of Agriculture, Rural Development, Development Studies, Community Development/Organizing, other Sustainable Development related studies.
