The position is responsible for managing contractual arrangements and coordinating with stakeholders for the smooth implementation of Cash Based Transfer (CBT) activities from a procurement perspective. It also involves overseeing procurement of goods and services, supervising national staff, and providing technical advice.
Minimum eight years of relevant professional experience in Procurement, including: Progressive experience in contracting Financial Service Providers, retailers, etc to support Cash based interventions. Experience conducting cost analyses. Experience in coordinating CBT working group. Experience of working in international and multi-cultural environment. Experience with food commodity markets, freight markets, and related market intelligence. Experience with the new E-tendering platform (COUPA). Experience with budgeting, pipelines, and WFP corporate systems.
Advanced University degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Legal or Accounting, or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional relevant work experience and/or training/courses. CIPS certification is mandatory.
