Overview

The Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) Coordinator will develop and implement a CEA roadmap to integrate CEA across all activities and support the SIP action plan. The role will work closely with management, programme, area office, and field teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with NRC policies, procedures, handbooks, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with CEA and SIP standards, handbooks, and guidelines.
  • Support staff with capacity strengthening and mentoring on CEA and SIP.
  • Implement tasks in line with the SIP action plan.
  • Manage tasks independently in line with priorities.
  • Prepare reports and basic analysis.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing.
  • Finalise the CEA baseline and lead the development of a country-level CEA roadmap.
  • Monitor progress against the CEA roadmap and the SIP action plan.
  • Provide capacity strengthening on community engagement and inclusion.
  • Facilitate and/or co-facilitate community engagement activities.
  • Conduct and/or accompany CC teams on field monitoring visits.
  • Develop and contextualise CEA tools, SOPs, and guidance.
  • Support integration of CEA into NRC’s Ways of Working.
  • Support institutionalisation of SIP.
  • Liaise with relevant local and national authorities and stakeholders.
  • Represent NRC in coordination forums and working groups.
  • Articulate NRC Ukraine’s CEA commitments, approaches, and standards.
  • Contribute to donor proposals and reports.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Required Experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing CEA strategies and tools.
  • Experience in capacity strengthening and mentoring.
  • Experience in facilitating community engagement activities.
  • Experience in conducting field monitoring visits.
  • Experience in developing and contextualising CEA tools, SOPs, and guidance.
  • Experience in supporting the integration of CEA into organisational ways of working.
  • Experience in supporting institutionalisation of SIP.
  • Experience liaising with relevant local and national authorities and stakeholders.
  • Experience representing an organisation in coordination forums and working groups.
  • Experience contributing to donor proposals and reports.
