The Chief of Service, Service Delivery is responsible for the overall management of technical and logistical support services to all Mission components. This role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering integrated technical and logistical services, including staff, asset, and budgetary resource management.
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible experience in at least three of the logistic and technical service delivery areas: fleet management, ICT, medical services, construction, building management or facilities management, or contract management is required. At least five (5) years of management experience in the area of service delivery, of which at least two (2) years in managing logistic service delivery operations in an international environment is required. Experience in managing complex logistic service delivery operations for a large field operation in a conflict or post-conflict environment with scarcity of resources is desirable. Experience in planning, deployment or sustaining field operations is desirable. Experience in liquidation or draw down of peace keeping mission is desirable.
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business administration, engineering, logistics, medical, ICT or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
