Overview

Support the planning for Capability Integration and Service Transition of DCIS and SATCOM, and plan/support user acceptance of the capabilities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating with NSBs and NCISG Divisions to consolidate and develop requirements, priorities, schedules, and implement NSIP projects.
  • Assist in coordinating and reviewing CPP submission, PDS, PIP, PP.
  • Assist NCISG representatives in the development of DCIS capabilities IAW DOTMLPFI analysis.
  • Support the analysis, reports and briefings concerning the DCIS capability development.
  • Assist in contributing to the development and amendment of NCISG formal agreements, Service Level Agreements, Directives, Standard operating Procedures and NCISG Operating and Support Instructions.
  • Provide assistance in monitoring the implementation of NSIP projects and the development of reports, briefing, position papers and presentations.
  • Support the coordination of all projects management activities required to implement new capabilities within the NCISG.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of training requirements for new equipment.
  • Provide support in the analysis, design, implementation and monitoring of business processes and procedures.
  • Assist in representing NCISG’s position on topics related to senior policies, capability development and project execution support and implementation in Working Groups, NCISG conferences, DCIS integration Steering Groups.
  • Assist the internal coordination for the creation and management of plans to improve the NCISG capabilities.
  • Assist in the development of mitigation plans to improve NCISG DCIS capabilities, including risk management activities.
  • Assist in identifying new deployable CIS requirements based on lessons-learned and operational shortfalls.
  • Assist in the identification of project dependencies and the development of mitigation recommendations.
  • Maintain and update the NCISG Capability Development documentation register.
Required Experience

More than 4 years of experience and knowledge in international environment in project management of equipment, systems and CIS services and project lifecycle planning. Experience in IT strategy and planning, creation, iteration and maintenance of a strategy.

Qualifications

Higher Secondary education and intermediate vocational training in information technology, information systems engineering, business administration, quality engineering or related discipline with 3 years’ experience, OR Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 4 years’ post related experience.
