The Gender Officer will support, monitor, and report on gender equality outcomes across ADB operations, providing technical support to regional, thematic, and sectoral teams. The role involves supporting the processing and administration of loans, grants, and technical assistance on gender equality, as well as providing sector-level operational and coordination support.
At least 8 years of relevant work experience in program monitoring, design, implementation and reporting, with preference for experience in one of ADB's regions (e.g., Central and West Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia or the Pacific). Experience of working in monitoring and evaluation - with preference for experience on analysis and monitoring of programming on gender equality. Experience of capacity development and delivering training on gender equality to a wide range of stakeholders, including government staff, the private sector, and civil society organizations. Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required. Years as an ADB-engaged consultant or contractor are considered experience outside of ADB.
Bachelor's degree in international development, social sciences and/or gender studies or relevant fields preferably with advanced training.
