Overview
Provide support to the Multi Country Office (MCO) Caribbean colleagues in incorporating monitoring and reporting into programme formulation, tracking against Strategic Plan targets, and reporting results to internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance of data in UN Women's internal Performance and Results Integrated System for Management (PRISM).
- Verify completeness and accuracy of SN/AWP Monitoring and Strategic Monitoring data.
- Provide technical support for compliance with corporate reporting deadlines in PRISM.
- Support the preparation, entry, and quality assurance of SN 2027–2031 results data in PRISM.
- Provide technical inputs to the development of evaluation plan, monitoring indicators, monitoring calendars, and field monitoring plans.
- Support MCO monthly programme meetings for SN indicator monitoring and performance review.
- Facilitate the process of the MCO’s annual report drafting.
- Provide technical support to partners in developing Performance Monitoring Frameworks (PMFs), systems, and plans, and Baseline Surveys.
- Consolidate quarterly partner and country-level results data and prepare management briefs.
- Review progress reports submitted by partners and provide feedback.
- Collect and maintain results data for corporate reports.
- Provide technical support to UNCTs in completing the UNCT-SWAP Gender Scorecard annual progress reporting and in developing or updating their respective action plans.
- Prepare UNCT IMS annual reporting inputs, including gender equality marker data, and UN Women results entries for UN INFO.
- Prepare responses to RCO-coordinated surveys.
- Deliver capacity development support on gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation to UNCT, Gender Theme Groups, and inter-agency counterparts.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in monitoring and reporting of development projects/programmes or 4 years’ experience with a first-level university degree, is required. Relevant UN Caribbean experience is an asset.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Political or Social Science, Economics, International Development Studies, Gender/Women's Studies is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) would be an added advantage.
