Overview

The Associate Treasury Officer provides analysis and day-to-day operational management of the IAEA's cash holdings, ensuring funds are available to meet financial obligations and investing excess cash.


Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and monitor daily cash positions and other reports.
  • Perform booking of treasury transactions.
  • Keep abreast with financial markets, monitor credit ratings and market-based indicators.
  • Make recommendations to improve Treasury operations and document procedures.
  • Support the Treasurer and Associate Treasurer in preparing information for the Investment Committee and auditors.
  • Work closely with IT support teams to request changes, report problems, and test solutions.
Required Experience

Relevant experience gained in an international organization, financial institution, or corporate environment in cash management, investments, foreign exchange, banking, finance, or accounting — preferably at the international level — would be considered an asset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration. Other - Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate would be an asset.

Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (i.e. Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) an advantage.

Remuneration
Tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $43834 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 22794*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
