Overview

Supporting the Logistics Coordinator or Supply Chain Coordinator by undertaking delegated tasks and responsibilities, and replacing them in their absence to coordinate supply chain activities within a mission.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participating in the definition and monitoring of annual project planning and budgets, and the Emergency Preparation Plan.
  • Defining, monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring the implementation of supply strategies and activities.
  • Guaranteeing efficient supply administration and warehouse management, focusing on medical stocks.
  • Managing field visits to support supply stakeholders.
  • Validating the use of supply-related third parties.
  • Planning, supervising, and implementing staff processes.
  • Ensuring technical support to teams.
  • Representing MSF in meetings with Authorities and other NGOs.
  • Performing tasks delegated by the Logistics Coordinator or Supply Chain Coordinator.
Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Supply Manager or in a more senior supply management position. Previous field experience with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is mandatory. Previous logistics experience will be considered an asset.

Qualifications

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.

Contract Duration
1 year contract
Work Modality
Homebased position when not deployed in country programs.
Remuneration
If the candidate selected is legally resident in Spain, the salary will be at 34.912 € (Level 12 according to IRP2 as entry point). If the candidate selected is resident out of Spain, the compensation will be subject to the local pay scale applicable to that country.
