Overview

Ensuring the correct planning, implementation and monitoring of logistics activities and programs in the project, and coordinating human and material resources needed, in accordance with MSF standards and protocols.


Key Responsibilities
  • Defining, implementing and monitoring logistics activities and operational priorities.
  • Participating in the development of policies, annual plans, proposals, and budget review.
  • Supporting activities with resources, procedures and tools.
  • Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of supply chain, logistics, and WHS activities.
  • Coordinating, organizing, supervising, coaching and providing technical support to the logistics team.
  • Participating in the implementation of technical choices, policies and logistics procedures.
  • Overseeing security in the absence of the Field Coordinator and at the request of the Head of Mission.
Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Supply Manager or in a more senior supply management position. Previous field experience with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is mandatory. Previous logistics experience will be considered an asset.

Qualifications

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.

Contract Duration
1 year contract
Work Modality
Homebased position when not deployed in country programs.
Remuneration
If the candidate selected is legally resident in Spain, the salary will be at 34.835 € (Level 11 according to IRP2 as entry point). If the candidate selected is resident out of Spain, the compensation will be subject to the local pay scale applicable to that country.
