Overview

The consultant will develop a report on data collection for the National Inventory of Banks for Saint Lucia and contribute to the development of a national plan for the management of waste-controlled substances.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a desk study on available data on banks of used and unwanted controlled substances.
  • Develop a stakeholder database and conduct surveys to close data gaps.
  • Identify possible existing laboratories for analyzing ODS and HFCs and assess upgrade needs.
  • Prepare a report on data collection for the National Inventory of Banks in line with UNEP and MLFS guidelines.
Required Experience
  • Experience in national data collection in the RAC sector. Required.
  • Experience in writing and reviewing technical project proposals. Required
Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC), Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
