Overview

Support the formulation of a GEF project document by generating and collating information related to stakeholder engagement and project implementation in Viet Nam.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the mapping of stakeholders according to their relevance to the project deliverables and their expected roles during project implementation;
  • Contribute to the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, including researching and listing relevant stakeholders, mapping them with appropriate engagement modalities, and supporting the team in building a timeline and planned activities for engagement;
  • Map the current institutional arrangements and community architecture in the target landscapes;
  • Support FAO and Operational Partner in establishing optimal implementation arrangements and addressing comments/feedback from relevant Departments and Ministries, harmonizing requirements, rules, and regulations of multiple stakeholders;
  • Review the draft GEF project document;
  • Develop the ProDoc (Vietnamese version) and its annexes as required by Decree 242/2025/NĐ-CP, detailing how the project will be established at the country level to comply with the Government’s ODA management regulations;
  • Participate in field visits and workshops as required throughout the PPG process;
  • Undertake other tasks as agreed.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of professional experience in the aquaculture and fisheries sector or ODA projects management or a related field in Viet Nam.

Qualifications

University degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, State management or related fields.
