Overview

The National Public Private Partnerships Specialist will support the establishment of an Agrifood Public-Private Coalition in Mauritius to accelerate agrifood systems transformation through public-private collaborations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop a PPP stakeholder database.
  • Design and develop the Agrifood Public-Private Coalition documentation package.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations and coordination meetings.
  • Develop and maintain an interactive Agrifood Investment Tracker.
  • Prepare periodic investment analyses and reports.
  • Identify, develop and structure at least three bankable PPP concepts.
  • Prepare investment pitch decks and facilitate engagement sessions.
  • Provide technical support during negotiations and formalization of PPP agreements.
  • Support the development of implementation action plans and monitor readiness of formalized PPP partnerships.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in public-private partnerships (PPPs), private sector engagement, investment promotion, agribusiness development, or related fields.

Qualifications

University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Public Administration, Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field.
