Overview
The Technical Lead (Stakeholder Engagement) ensures a results-oriented programmatic response to Member States' priorities in stakeholder engagement for nuclear power programmes, including the design and implementation of communication strategies and action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Scientific Secretary responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating workshops, training courses and other capacity building events.
- Serve as a Technical Officer for Technical Cooperation Projects on stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare state-of-the-art reports on stakeholder engagement across the nuclear sector.
- Identify emerging needs, priorities, and publication prospects for guidance and reports.
- Monitor the needs, implementation, operating experience and current practices in stakeholder engagement in Member States.
- Liaise and interact with other international experts, both internal and external.
- Coordinate efforts within the NE Department and across the Agency in the area of stakeholder engagement.
Required Experience
- Minimum seven years of experience in stakeholder engagement or nuclear communication, of which at least five at the international level.
- Experience in developing communication plans and campaigns.
- Experience in organizing and leading training courses, workshops and other capacity building events.
- Experience in technical writing in English and producing reports and official documents.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in communications, science or social science.
- Bachelor's Degree - University degree in communications, science or social science with two years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of advanced university degree.
