E T Consultant - Intake Officer

Overview

The role of an Intake Officer is to support investigative activities into allegations of misconduct by World Bank Group staff. The incumbent will be responsible for the initial assessment of these allegations with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Register, categorize, and track all allegations and their assessment as well as inquiries and responses in the case management system.
• Manage and respond to incoming allegations of misconduct, assessing, analyzing and identifying the issues.
• Interview complainants and collect additional information.
• Make verbal and written recommendations for appropriate disposition and triaging of allegations.
• Maintain quality standards for the intake process ensuring compliance with KPIs and service delivery standards.
• Occasionally participate as a member of the investigation team, conducting fact finding and drafting reports.
• Participate in the sharing of best practices, trends, knowledge and lessons learned.

Required Experience

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience conducting administrative fraud and/or workplace misconduct investigations, with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and abilities regarding strategies, methodologies, and techniques. Knowledge about investigatory best practices in relevant international public organizations is desirable. Experience with data work and case management systems.

Qualifications

A master’s degree, or equivalent in criminology, criminal justice, accounting, analytics, or another relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
