The Safeguards Training Officer manages, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates training courses to meet identified training needs. The role involves acting as a trainer, technical advisor, and specialist for training needs assessment and course development.
At least seven years of combined research, industrial and nuclear safeguards experience, including experience in implementation and presentation of training.
Bachelor's Degree - First level university degree in science, physics, engineering, a safeguards related discipline, education, or other related field plus two years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in science, physics, engineering, a safeguards related discipline, education, social sciences or other related field.
