Overview
The ET Consultant - Investment Accounting will support the accounting analysis, evaluation, and implementation for IFC’s loan, equity, and guarantee transactions, working with investment officers and other staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage on A.I tools to identify transactions to be scoped in for review and assign these reviews to members of the unit.
- Prepare and document investment structures and background facts for scoped-in transactions and perform accounting analyses for simple investment transactions, leveraging A.I. tools.
- Undertake discussions with Investment Officers and Investment Accounting team members to clarify information or obtain additional information.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and efficiencies, documenting and updating Investment Accounting procedures.
- Share key information on processes, timelines, responsibilities, expectations and potential problems with supervisors and team members.
- Assist in various compliance testing and other compliance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Preferably 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required. An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) is a plus.
