Overview
The Communications Assistant will support day-to-day communications and outreach activities for the Office of the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO). The role involves assisting with content development, event logistics, and maintaining communications databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and draft content, including visual materials such as infographics and information brochures or slides on CAO processes and accountability-related topics.
- Contribute to internal and external newsletters by developing content and sourcing information.
- Post content to CAO’s website, social media, and other communications channels.
- Coordinate the production of the news clipping.
- Provide logistics support for external meetings and events.
- Develop and maintain communications’ databases and listservs.
- Reorganize and maintain CAO’s photo library and archives.
- Support CAO case data tracking and disclosure activities.
- Liaise with vendors including designers, editors, printers, and photographers as needed.
Required Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, or areas related to international development.
