Overview

The Senior HR Assistant, Recruitment provides operational and analytical support across the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of recruitment processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding, ensuring compliance with WBG policies and standards.
  • Partner with hiring managers to align timelines and processes while coordinating end-to-end recruitment workflows across longlisting, shortlisting, assessments, interviews, and final selection.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of external applications to produce high quality longlists aligned with business requirements, leveraging both scoring questions and detailed resume review.
  • Maintain accurate system records and manage confidential candidate data, including timely candidate disposition according to recruitment process steps and WBG data standards.
  • Respond to candidate, hiring manager, and HR inquiries with accurate guidance and timely recruitment updates.
  • Support hiring manager / selection committees by coordinating recruitment logistics, system transactions, and process steps.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with WBG policies, quality assurance standards, and governance standards.
  • Identify process gaps, support workflow improvements, and track resolution of quality assurance report.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding the 75-day Time to Select service standard through effective time and workload management.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in response to changing systems, processes, and policy requirements.
Required Experience
  • Relevant experience in recruitment, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offer documentation, onboarding, and candidate disposition, with high accuracy and compliance.
  • Skilled in structuring process timelines, managing dependencies, prioritizing multiple requisitions, and ensuring smooth workflow continuity.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment governance, risk controls, documentation standards, and strict data protection protocols.
  • Experienced in conducting structured candidate assessments and resolving process bottlenecks efficiently.
  • Ability to provide policy-aligned guidance to candidates and hiring teams, with sensitivity to diverse global work environments.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Management, Behavioral Sciences, Business, or a related field.
