Overview
Support the implementation of construction, engineering, and WASH activities related to Migration Response Centres (MRCs) and Community-Based Reintegration (CBR) implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, monitoring, and reporting of construction and CBR engineering projects.
- Support preparation and review of technical designs, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), schematics, and construction specifications.
- Conduct field visits to monitor MRC and CB project sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Support management and implementation of construction, engineering, and CBR related-WASH and other project interventions.
- Contribute to community engagement efforts.
- Ensure proper documentation of all construction, engineering, and WASH activities.
- Facilitate internal coordination with different programs and units.
- Participate in field assessments and compile findings.
- Support procurement processes for construction materials and services.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Prepare and submit regular monthly progress reports.
Required Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in construction, engineering or WASH projects. Experience working with international organizations NGOs, or UN agencies is an asset.
Qualifications
University BA and MA in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, and/or related field. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
