Overview

The Principal Business Intelligence Specialist (Operations) will analyze sovereign operations data to provide insights for data-driven decision-making and improve understanding of the project cycle.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic alignment and operational efficiency by overseeing and assessing the project pipeline.
  • Enhance the quality and readiness of project data for reporting and monitoring.
  • Use data analytics to track pipeline delivery, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
  • Support data-driven decision-making for project prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Lead and develop clear and innovative dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
  • Collaborate with regional and sector teams to improve data definition and process.
  • Represent BIOC in cross-functional working groups on project pipeline management and processing improvements.
Required Experience

At least 12 years of relevant experience in data analytics, portfolio analytics, or business intelligence, with experience in operations, project management, organizational development, or policy formulation including international experience working in several countries. Experience using data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau. Hands-on experience in data analytics, data visualization, or business intelligence. Demonstrated capacity to learn and apply new technologies. International experience working in development.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in information technology, data science, business administration, economics, engineering; or University degree and at least 5 years specialized experience relevant to the position can be considered.

Remuneration
All reasonable relocation expenses will be covered. The salary will be based on ADB's standards and comparator markets, taking into account your qualifications and experience.
