Overview
Manages the day-to-day operation of recruitment services and activities, including revising vacancy advertisements, preparing technical tests, and monitoring the screening of applications. Advises on recruitment issues and contributes to the development of recruitment plans and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages recruitment services and activities, including revising vacancy advertisements, preparing technical tests, and monitoring application screening.
- Prepares for interviews, ensures recruitments align with the recruitment plan, and participates in interview panels.
- Initiates contact with job applicants and provides guidance on the recruitment process.
- Advises on recruitment issues and assists in developing the annual Field recruitment plan.
- Produces periodic statistical reports on recruitment activities.
- Contacts counterparts in other organizations regarding vacancies and applications.
- Provides updates on recruitment issues to Programmes, Service Programmes’ heads, and Chiefs of Area Office.
- Oversees the development of appropriate assessment tools.
Required Experience
At least five years of progressively responsible relevant experience in human resources management, including two years in recruitment and succession planning at a supervisory level is required.
Qualifications
A university degree from accredited educational institution in human resources management, public or business administration or any other related field.
