Overview
Lead one of UNICEF's largest nutrition programmes in the Region, providing strategic and technical leadership to strengthen maternal and child nutrition and address all forms of malnutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership to strengthen maternal and child nutrition, address all forms of malnutrition, including overweight and obesity, and support government-led systems strengthening.
- Lead a multidisciplinary nutrition team and oversee a diverse portfolio covering policy and governance, legislative advocacy, nutrition financing, systems strengthening, social and behaviour change, and emergency preparedness and response.
- Oversee UNICEF's strategic partnership with the Department of Health under the World Bank-financed Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project.
- Drive evidence-informed programming and innovation, influence policy and systems, and scale up high-impact nutrition interventions.
- Key responsibilities include programme leadership, technical advisory services, partnership building, advocacy, innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.

Required Experience
At least 8 years of relevant work experience in a developing country in one or more of the following areas is required: nutrition, public health, nutrition planning and management, or maternal, infant and child health/nutrition care.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in nutrition and dietetics, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global/international health and nutrition, health/nutrition research, policy and/or management, health sciences, nutritional epidemiology, or another health-related science field.
