Overview
Provide practical, operational, and field-based security support, including accompanying personnel on missions, reporting security information, liaising with local authorities, and safeguarding personnel, premises, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompanying personnel on missions and field movements
- Observing and reporting security-related information from the ground
- Maintaining regular liaison with local authorities and community interlocutors
- Helping to safeguard UNICEF personnel, premises, and assets
- Driving when necessary or under exceptional circumstances
- Carrying out duties with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion
- Ensuring strict compliance with UN security policies, rules, procedures, established security protocols, and supervisory instructions

Required Experience
A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in a security related environment is required.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education is required. In addition, completion of relevant training in at least one of the following areas is required: technical/ military/security courses, guarding, first aid, or defensive driving. A valid national driver’s license is required.
